We are looking for an Electromechanical Technician based in the Teplice area, Czech Republic, who will be responsible for handling the mechanical and electrical maintenance of our special machines used in glass handling.

You are the ideal candidate if you have:
  • A qualification in electronics or mechatronics
  • Experience in machine maintenance, preferably in forklift maintenance and repair
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Native proficiency in Czech
  • Digital skills: proficiency with Microsoft Office and Outlook
  • Ability to read electrical and hydraulic diagrams
  • Organizational skills
  • A proactive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Residence in the Teplice area (main workplace)
  • The flexibility to occasionally travel (up to 25% of annual work time) to assist clients in East Germany (Torgau, Bitterfeld-Wolfen). Overnight stays (hotel) may be required
What will you do:
  • Installing spare parts, performing maintenance and repairs, and conducting necessary tests on machines manufactured by Italcarrelli S.p.A. at the Customer's site
  • Diagnosing errors or technical issues and working with the Italcarrelli Technical Team to determine appropriate solutions
  • Providing customer service and technical assistance
  • Collaborating with the Italcarrelli Technical Team to share technical information
  • Working with Italcarrelli’s Sales Department to promote and sell spare parts
  • Properly documenting the completion of each job in the company’s management system
  • During the commissioning of a new machine at the Customer’s facility, configuring the machine and training the Customer's operators on the machine's features and functionality
  • Tracking work progress and scheduling activities
  • Building strong customer relationships by understanding their needs and promoting Italcarrelli’s services
  • Training will be provided for a couple of weeks in Italy, along with on-the-field mentoring in Teplice by our experienced technicians
