LGV Lanutti
Lannutti has chosen Italcarrelli's logistic solutions for its new hub in Mornimont, Belgium.
This warehouse covers an area of 60,000m² and stores enormous quantities of flat glass on over 300 storage positions for jumbo racks and 500 stowages. ITALCARRELLI, a long-time partner of Lannutti, was chosen to supply all the machines, both for handling glass packs and racks.
For handling glass packs between racks and stowages, ITALCARRELLI EN4L 160 side-loaders with a capacity of 16t were provided, which, thanks to automation and cutting-edge technological solutions, allow a single operator to unload or load all the glass packs from a rack very quickly in just 2 manipulations and with maximum safety.
For managing jumbo racks, given the high daily traffic (over 200 movements per day), the ITALCARRELLI PTN 330 LGV, innovative 33t autonomous guided transporters entirely conceived, developed, and built by Italcarrelli, were chosen.
The supply of these machines was also complemented with the innovative ITALCARRELLI BES, a station that fully autonomously and automatically manages the charging and changing of batteries on Italcarrelli AGV vehicles.
In addition to the supply of machines and automation, Italcarrelli also provided its RICU software, an app developed by Italcarrelli that includes WMS functionalities for managing both autonomous guided machines and the warehouse.
