Semi-automatic LGV Guidance for Laminated Glass - Autoclave

ITALCARRELLI TPEN transporters allow for easy loading of glass into the autoclave.

In the laminated glass manufacturing process, loading glass into the autoclave is a very delicate and dangerous operation, especially with jumbo glass sizes.
ITALCARRELLI TPEN transporters make this operation very easy by picking up the rack directly from the end of the laminated line and depositing it directly into the autoclave.

Like all ITALCARRELLI machines, these transporters can be customized in terms of platform dimensions, for LES glass racks (3,210mm), jumbo (6,000mm), and XXL jumbo (9,000mm and beyond), as well as load capacity, ranging from 15-30tons to over 60tons.

Thanks to many years of experience in automation and autonomous guided vehicles, Italcarrelli has developed an innovative semi-automatic guidance solution to further simplify and significantly increase safety during autoclave loading. The system is based on LGV technology, widely used by ITALCARRELLI in autonomous guided machines, allowing for automatic and highly precise path following to the destination, in this case, inside the autoclave.

The operator simply needs to guide the machine near the autoclave and enable semi-automatic guidance, from which point the system will automatically manage the machine’s guidance until the rack is unloaded inside the autoclave, with the operator serving only a supervisory role.
